This website has been the labor of love for me and two very important men in my life. I honor them both by dedicating this website and continued research to both of them.
Joseph McKinley Henslee, Sr, my father, left this earth in June 2013. I inherited many things from my father, but one that I cherish and treasure most was our shared love of genealogy and family history. I know he has been reunited with the many ancestors that we discovered together.
Bruce Rexton Downer returned to Heavenly Father on December 26, 2011. He is the co-founder of the original Familytresearch.com and my partner in life and in family history work. One of his most famous quotes was "everytime we find someone on earth and speak their name, they rejoice in heaven." I know that Bruce was happy to be reunited with his parents, his grandparents and his brother Brian.
This website and research is a living, breathing record of the Henslee, Hunter, Downer and Armstrong families. I encourage you to contact me if you have additional information or if you feel any of the content is incorrect.
